Didy Veldman in Interview

Today on MODance a special treat for you all, a new video interview with yet another prolific choreographer.

This week Dutch choreographer Didy Veldman took the time out to speak to me in Bern’s Opera House ahead of last night’s premiere of her piece ‘Momo’. Didy is a founding member of ‘Alias’ along with critically acclaimed choreographer Guilerhme Botelho, trained with Scapino Ballet later dancing with them, and has choreographed for major international companies including Rambert, Cederlake and Cullberg ballet.

Jyrki Karttunen Interview

Below is the video interview i recorded with Finnish choreographer, who has brought a beautiful powerful mens duet to Bern:Ballet to be performed as part of the forthcoming triple bill, V:Dance Everywhere. Jyrki’s piece features alongside new creations from Isreali choreographer Nao Zuk and former company member and now choreographer Erick Guillard, premiering in Bern 18th February 2012.
