There’s a beautiful full moon tonight in Bern.
I cooked dinner tonight for the family I live with here as the parents are in Zurich for the night, was great to cook again!
The next few days are full up with teching, spacing and lighting for the triple bill i’m performing in with Bern Ballet for our next show which is a triple bill and you may of seen my video interviews with the choreographers of the pieces showing in this show.
At the weekend I’m planning on going to Geneva with a few friends from the company to see The Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève performing what looks like yet another stunning piece from choreographer Andonis Foniadakis. Very much looking forward to that, I’m a big fan of his work.
I finally finished a big application for funding today from Sky Arts for the company, John Ross Dance, my colleague John from University in London and I have set up recently and you may of also read about. We’ve got ambitious plans for the coming year and there feels like a great momentum behind us with lots of support from our University and choreographers, politicians, dance teachers and lovers alike. We very much hope thing’s pan out well for what won’t just be a project, but years of dance and inspiring events ahead.
