Remembering 9/11

Ten years on and everyone still remembers where they where that day, what they where doing, and how every single thing in their life and the world we live in changed forever.

With all the unspeakable acts of cruelty and carnage happening that day, what is the prevailing thing i and it seems most people remember? The incredible human spirit and how everyone pulled together, regardless of race, creed or religion, to help those in need that day.

It is in such extreme circumstances that all peoples come together, in a show of strength and unity in the face of evil, and make a stance together saying, you can not stop us. You will not change our way of life, you will not succeed in your hellbent mission to destroy all we stand for, and you will above all else, not break our spirit.

Whilst I personally did not loose anyone close to me that day, I felt an incredible link to the pain and suffering that america and the free world felt on the 11th September 2001. Today on the tenth anniversary of the terrorist attacks, I remember everyone that was lost, send my thoughts to those that lost loved ones and pay tribute to all that gave their lives and have since as a result of the war on terror.

We shall not forget. Ever.
